Coney Island Sauce

One 6oz pack of Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix
1 1/2 lbs of 81% ground beef
2 Cups Water
1/2 cup canola oil

In a sauce pot, add water and hamburger. Use a potato masher and break up the hamburger until there are no chunks. Turn on the heat to HIGH. Add oil and Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix. Stir until blended and bring to a boil. Once a boil has been reached, turn to a medium heat and simmer uncovered for an hour or until the desired consistency has been met. Enjoy atop hot dogs, burgers, nachos, tacos, or whatever your heart desires!

Coney Island Pizza

One 6oz pack of Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix
1 1/2 lbs of 81% ground beef
2 Cups Water
1/2 cup canola oil
Store Bought Pizza Crust
5 Kayem Hot dogs
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1/2 cup diced white onion

Prepare your Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix: In a sauce pot add water and hamburger. Use a potato masher and break up the hamburger until there are no chunks. Turn on the heat to HIGH. Add oil and Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix. Stir until blended and bring to a boil. Once a boil has been reached, turn to a medium heat and simmer uncovered for an hour or until the desired consistency has been met.

While cooking sauce, boil your hotdogs and then cut into 1/4 inch pieces. Par bake your pizza crust, set the oven to 400 degrees and bake for 10 minutes.

Once sauce is done, take your par baked pizza crust and top with Faneek’s Coney Sauce (as much or as little as you like!). Top your sauce with the diced onions, distributing them evenly over the sauce. Then top with the cut hot dogs again, distributing evenly. Drizzle the top of the pizza with mustard and put back in the oven for 10 more minutes. Enjoy!

Chili Cheese Baked Potato

One 6oz pack of Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix
1 1/2 lbs of 81% ground beef
2 Cups Water
1/2 cup canola oil
1 large russet potato
Cheez Whiz (or preferred cheddar cheese sauce)
Plastic Wrap

Prepare your Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix: In a sauce pot, add water and hamburger. Use a potato masher and break up the hamburger until there are no chunks. Turn on the heat to HIGH. Add oil and Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix. Stir until blended and bring to a boil. Once a boil has been reached turn to a medium heat and simmer uncovered for an hour or until desired consistency has been met.

While cooking your sauce, poke holes in your potato with a fork. Soak in water for a couple of minutes then wrap the potato in plastic wrap. Place potato in the microwave for 8 minutes After the potato is pulled from the microwave place your cheese sauce, uncovered, in the microwave and microwave in 1 minute increments until cheese sauce is hot.

Take your potato and cut a t shape in the top (avoid cutting through all the way) and split your potato open. Top the potato with your cheese sauce (as MUCH as you like!) and then top with Faneek’s Coney Sauce (again, as MUCH as you like!) and enjoy!

Coney Island Gravy

One 6oz pack of Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix
2 cups water
4 tbsp all-purpose flour

In a sauce pot, add 1 1/2 water (reserve 1/2 cup for later) and Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix. Stir until smooth and bring to a boil. In a bowl, add the rest of the water and the flour and mix until smooth. Reduce the heat on the stove top to low and slowly mix in your flour and water mixture, continually mixing with either a fork or a whisk. Once the sauce thickens, remove from the heat and enjoy!

Coney Island Shepherds Pie

One 6oz pack of Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix
2 cups water
4 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 lb 81% hamburger
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
3 large russet potatoes
2 tbsp butter
salt
pepper
mustard
1/2 cup diced onions

In a sauce pot, add 1 1/2 water (reserve 1/2 cup for later) and Faneek’s Coney Sauce Mix. Stir until smooth and bring to a boil. In a bowl, add the rest of the water and the flour and mix until smooth. Reduce the heat on the stove top to low and slowly mix in your flour and water mixture continually mixing with either a fork or a whisk. Once the sauce thickens, remove from the heat. Peel your potatoes and cut into quarters. In a sauce pot, bring potatoes to a boil. Once tender, drain the potato and add the butter and mash until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Next, add your hamburger to a pan and cook until browned. Mix your gravy into your cooked hamburger. In a casserole dish, add the hamburger and gravy, then top with your frozen vegetables. Top the vegetables with mustard and onions then top that with your mashed potatoes. Make sure all your layers are even and smooth. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place your casserole dish in the oven and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Enjoy!
